Committee Recommendations (3)
The Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board Aprea Prescribing Committee supports restricted use of fezolinetant for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (VMS) associated with menopause in adults, in line with NICE TA1143, where hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is not suitable
The Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board Area Prescribing Committee supports use in line with NICE TA1142 as an add-on maintenance treatment for adults with uncontrolled COPD characterised by raised blood eosinophils, where disease remains inadequately controlled despite optimised inhaled therapy.
The Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board Aread Prescribing Committee supports restricted use of topical ruxolitinib for the treatment of non-segmental vitiligo with facial involvement in patients aged ≥12 years, in line with NICE TA1140, where standard topical therapies (e.g. potent corticosteroids and/or calcineurin inhibitors) are ineffective, not tolerated, or not appropriate.
Use should be initiated and supervised by a specialist dermatologist with experience in vitiligo management.
