Medicines Optimisation Operational Group (MOOG)
The Surrey Heartlands Medicines Optimisation Operational Group approved a local guideline to support clinicans in deprescribing antidepressants.
The guide provides advice on dose-tapering techniques, withdrawal symptoms and ways to avoid them, and sign-posting to other supporting resources.
